Co. Longford Community & Voluntary Forum (CLCVF)
is a representative body for 160 Community and Voluntary
Groups in Co. Longford. These groups include
Resident's Associations & Community Alert, Health & Family
Support, Heritage & Environment, Women’s Groups, Youth,
Sports & Recreation, Community Development, the elderly &
special interest groups.
The Forum's Steering Group consists of 38
Volunteers elected who meet on a monthly basis to discuss
issues relevant to the local community.

– a review of responses to recent changes by Longford County
Council to its support for cemeteries.

– a series of Area Development Plans throughout Co. Longford

Longford Heritage Plan 2011-2016, incorporating the County
Longford Biodiversity Action Plan
Alignment –
a review of Local Government in Local & Community
Development in order to gauge synergy potential within local
government and to make recommendations as to the best
practice model to follow the possibility of alignment of all
elements.
